Returning Your Goods

Goods which prove to be unsuitable may be returned to us for a refund, credit or exchange if they are returned to us within 30 days of receipt. This is subject to the following conditions:

Any products returned without a valid Returns Authorisation number & Form will be refused.

Please return your item(s) in original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must include a copy of your Returns Authorisation form in with your item(s), failure to do so will delay the procedure

. Goods are returned to us carriage paid. We are not liable to pay any carriage paid on faulty or incorrectly supplied parts. Where products are sold national and internationally / over sea’s it will be the customers responsibility to send the product back to us on his/hers own expense, should the customer requires a replacement shipping will be charged.
. Please ensure that all goods are sent back to us via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or a signed for courier service.
. All Goods must be received in a re-salable condition.
. All Goods should be returned to us UN-USED in their original condition in order to secure a refund.
. All Goods are returned complete with all packaging in good condition. (We reserve the right to levy a charge to replace product packaging which is damaged or defaced).
. All Goods returned after 7 days from receipt may be subject to a re-stocking fee of not less than 10%. This does not affect your statutory rights
. We cannot accept any items which have been classed as a special order item which has been ordered into stock for your order or manufactured to your specification for return.     . Electrical or electronic parts such as sensors, ecu’s, ignition or electrical pumps can not be returned unless they are proven to be faulty. Faulty electronic parts are subject to an intensive testing program by the manufactures before any return decisions are made.
. All returns must be accompanied by a completed returns form
. We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.
Sideline Design Ltd are not responsible for any labor charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts.
Please advise our Sales Department of any problems with shortages or carrier damage within 24hrs of receipt. We regret that beyond this time, due to circumstances beyond our control we may be unable to process your claim. All correspondence should be sent to customerservices@design911.com

In the event of goods needing to be exchanged or replaced due to:
. The received the items are not suitable or incorrect
. The received are suitable but an exchange would be preferable
. The received items have been fitted but are faulty
In all cases Sideline Design Ltd would need to be in receipt of the original items in our warehouse or be in receipt of full payment for the replacement parts before any exchange items can be sent out.
In the event of replacement parts being more or less expensive than the original items ordered an additional payment or refund will be processed.

WARRANTIES & GUARANTEES

All warranties and guaranties are provided entirely by the manufacturers/UK importers and are subject to their terms and conditions. Sideline Design Ltd will deal direct with manufacturers/UK importers on your behalf but accepts no liability for any losses, costs damages, charges or expenses caused by any warranty claim. Customers are reminded to complete and return all warranty cards/documents upon receipt of goods where appropriate.

In order for us to process a warranty labour claim with our supplier a completed claim form together with a copy of a bona fide trade repair invoice must accompany the return of the faulty item.

Please bear in mind that on acceptance of a claim the labour amount credited will be the standard industry remove/replace fitting time x£35 per hour.

Where additional items are being claimed for this will be review on an individual bases. A detailed copy of the additional component suppliers invoice must also be provided as proof.

Unless all substantiated evidence is provided the claim(s) cannot be processed. Warranty claims are more complicated as the manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the part and test the part to establish that the fault has not appeared due to the fitting of the part or due to the possible abuse of a part.

Please note warranty claims can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to complete the investigation on the products and to complete the claim
